Our PVC Pipe Installation Process

The aging condition of the sewer and water pipeline structures used daily by people around the world has necessitated the development of a durable, easy-to-install, long-life product that can replace old and damaged pipes. At Thermoform Liner, we have the answer. Our PVC fold and form pipe liners enable the relining of decaying pipes with no large excavations, no mess, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional repair or replacement methods.

The Thermoform Liner process does not require earth-moving equipment and long, deep trenches. Instead, we utilize two access holes, one at either end of the suspect pipe. Our fold and form PVC liner is delivered to the job site on large spools and is initially in a C or H shape for transport. Prior to being used, the product is heated with steam to make it pliable enough to be winched through the host pipe.

Once in place, the product is further heated with more steam and pressurized, forcing it to mold perfectly to the inside of the pipe. Fold and form pipe liners are ductile and flexible enough to conform to any pipe interior, even if that involves changes in shape or diameter. Thermoform Liners are available for use in pipes from 4 inches to 36 inches in diameter, and the thickness can be adapted depending on the application.

Our PVC pipe liner contains a patented PVC-alloy that is flexible and ductile enough to expand and fit tightly into the host pipe. It is environmentally friendly with no water-soluble chemicals that can leach into the surrounding soil, causing contamination. There is no chemical reaction and no odor during installation and curing. And our Thermoform Liner products can easily be removed in the rare instance that it might be necessary to do so.

Thermoform Liner contractors are thoroughly trained in our trenchless PVC pipe lining techniques and continually tested. Training and initial testing are required prior to becoming an accredited Thermoform Liner contractor, and only accredited contractors are permitted to install our product.
